Finishes

Your favorite images, beautifully brought to life.

From the brilliant colors of the northern lights to the quiet beauty of the natural world, every photograph deserves a presentation that complements its character.

Each Root River Photography image is available in three distinctive finishes: fine art photographic paper, luminous metal, and gallery-wrapped canvas. Carefully selected for their quality, color, and lasting beauty, these options allow you to choose the presentation that best suits your space and personal style.

Fine Art Prints

Classic elegance. Exceptional detail.

Printed on Kodak ENDURA professional photographic paper, these prints feature a beautiful lustre finish that combines rich color, exceptional detail, and a soft, satin-like sheen. The subtle texture minimizes glare while preserving the depth and character of each image.

A personal favorite of mine, lustre prints offer a timeless presentation that looks beautiful framed and displayed for years to come.

Metal Prints

Brilliant color. Striking presence.

For photographs that deserve a little extra drama, metal prints are hard to beat! Using a specialized process, dyes are infused directly into coated aluminum, producing extraordinary vibrancy, luminous highlights, and remarkable depth.

Particularly stunning for northern lights, night skies, and richly colored landscapes, these contemporary prints arrive ready to hang and appear to float slightly away from the wall, creating a beautiful sense of dimension.

Canvas Gallery Wraps

Natural texture. Timeless appeal.

For a softer, more traditional presentation, canvas gallery wraps bring warmth and texture to fine art photography.

Printed on premium canvas using archival inks, each photograph is stretched over a substantial 1.5-inch wooden frame and finished with a protective lustre coating. The result is a beautiful, ready-to-hang piece that combines the character of a traditional canvas with the detail of fine art photography.

A Personal Touch

Every print is hand-signed by me and arrives without a watermark, allowing the photograph to take center stage.

Whether you're choosing a statement piece for your home, adding something special to your office, or giving a meaningful gift, my goal is simple: to bring a little of the natural world into the spaces where you live, work, and gather.
